Ours is a community of people who love the written word, love to write, and dare to think we may aspire to publication. Some have never been published. Others have publishing credits. A handful are well on the way to building successful and respected careers as authors.
Wherever you are on this continuum, we welcome you. We believe in the power of the written word to imbue meaning and joy into everyday life. We believe that every writer who is compelled to write has the potential to
change perceptions - and change lives - by sharing his or her ideas, experience and imagination.
Writers are not born, they are forged. The art and craft of writing is mastered through perseverance and determination. Great stories and books become so through stellar editing and a personal commitment to
create the best version of what the writer wants to share.
If you are passionate about writing; if you want to take yourself seriously as a writer; if you dream of having your work published - then you will be among kindred spirits in the London Writers' Society.
